ERTLEmbedded Real-Time Systems Laboratory

Embedded Software Platform Group

Objectives

The Embedded Software Platform Group conducts research focusing on foundational software technologies for embedded real-time systems. Our studies cover the theory, design, and implementation of core software such as real-time operating systems, hypervisors, unikernels, and container technologies, aiming to build high-performance and dependable platforms that support the next generation of embedded systems.

In response to the evolving environment surrounding embedded systems, we also pursue research from multiple perspectives, including functional safety, system-of-systems collaboration, and virtualization technologies. In addition, we work on practical applications such as resource sharing in integrated computer systems—spanning networks, storage, and GPUs—and optimization of baggage handling systems in airports.
